Kamala Niketan Montessori School (KNMS) is a co-educational institution in the heart of Trichy, serving 3,800+ students across a 6.5-acre campus since 1991. Pioneering Montessori education in Tamil Nadu and now an IB PYP Candidate School, KNMS offers three streams:

Our Legacy & Growth: Three Decades of Excellence
Kamala Niketan was born from Mrs. Geethanjali Sathiamoorthy's vision to create an educational institution that would incorporate changes aligned with global educational ethos and lead children toward lifelong learning. Passionate about transforming rote-based teaching methods, she envisioned building an institution focused on experiential and inquiry-based learning that would equip students with life skills and confidence to strive independently.
Founded in 1991 as "Tiny Tots" with just 30 students in its first batch, the school has grown through commitment and perseverance into one of Trichy's premier educational institutions.
